Uncharted review

History is an important part of the world we live in. The things that happen in the past effect the future of the world. For example one person who discovers new land can document it or colonize it. One inventor can advance technology further into the future. Sometimes treasure, valuables, even cities go missing and it is up to some people to learn about the mysteries of the world. That's what adventurers are for they discover new land and learn more about the world itself. I'm going to talk about uncharted 1 today and not much is there to talk about it.

story

Nathan drake is a treasure hunter who is trying to follow his ancestor Sir Francis Drakes trail to find out what really happened. Drake takes a reporter to middle of the ocean and find his ancestors coffin. they find nothing but a journal explaining what happened on his journey. he later finds out that Sir Francis found El Dorado and takes the journalist Elana and his mentor and old friend Sully to find it first before the rival party finds it.

this story itself was an interesting take the characters were funny and enjoyable to watch. like drake he was a treasure hunter who has been down this road before and is willing to give up the treasure for the greater good of his friends life or the world. he has even meet people who will betray him in the future when they were allies or the other way around. this made the story believable on how con artist and treasure hunters are you can't really trust anyone at all.

Game play

the game play is more of an action game at the time. the traversal methods of the game has us climbing objects in the most craziest way possible from buildings to off the sides of a wall. this makes for good puzzle solving and exploration method. the puzzles are also simple to solve as you would expect, I'm not saying it was bad I'm just saying to at least make it a challenge. the fighting in the game takes that of a third person shooter and chooses from a verity of special guns. I like the rarity of most guns the one shot guns have next to no ammo so you have to make every shot count, while the sniper weapons have the same problem they give better accuracy. the other guns have a quality of damage or quantity of bullets so it depends on your play style.
